As an important reminder, on June 1, 2016, Governor John Hickenlooper signed into law Colorado’s Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. The act, which became effective on Aug. 1, 2016, amends the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.

This one-time notice needs to be provided to employees within 120 days of Aug. 10, 2016. The attached document needs to be added to new employee onboarding packet, and the notice should be posted in a conspicuous area of the workplace.
